Isaac Brock
Isaac Brock is a historically significant figure because he had fought and won important major battle against many countries. He was born in 1769 being the 8th child in his family. When he was 15 years old he decided to join the army. Isaac Brock had fought in west indies, British against France. Then in 1802 he took his troop to lower Canada to build a defence for Quebec city. Later in 1810 he became a commander of the Montreal defence. Isaac Brock was sent to Upper Canada, when he was promoted to major general. In 1812 the Americans took over Queenston Heights. Isaac Brock then took his troop near fort George to recapture Queenston Heights. When Isaac Brock came to the battle field he got shoot right straight in the chest where he died. Because of his leadership they eventually did recapturing Queenston Heights. Without these amazing people like Isaac Brock in the war of 1812, Upper Canada could have been the United States of America.
